Plan for the Sacred Conversation

You’re invited to join the Sacred Conversation:
Is God talking to us? Are we listening?

We are in the midst of a deep shift in human history and the life of the church that demands prayerful informed reflection by all followers of Jesus Christ. The session of the congregation adopted a proposal in November 2007 for a congregational sacred conversation as a spiritual discipline during Lent.

The purposes of this sacred conversation are:

To seek God’s direction and call for the church
To deepen our level of conversation about God and the church
To hear from some key Christian thinkers of the day
To seek some answers to important questions i.e. Why church? What makes a church a church? What does it mean to be Christian in the 21st century? What is God calling us as the church to be and do?
