Are we listening?<br /><br />We are in the midst of a deep shift in human history and the life of the church that demands prayerful informed reflection by all followers of Jesus Christ. The session of the congregation adopted a proposal in November 2007 for a congregational sacred conversation as a spiritual discipline during Lent. <br /><br />The purposes of this sacred conversation are:<br /><br />To seek God’s direction and call for the church<br />To deepen our level of conversation about God and the church<br />To hear from some key Christian thinkers of the day<br />To seek some answers to important questions i.e. Why church? What makes a church a church? What does it mean to be Christian in the 21st century?
